 Problem:

When trying to program key with xhorse vvdi mb tool, it failed me and said error 3 product status is incorrect. Any clue?

Solution:

The error indicated the vvdi mb is locked. This machine was sold in China during the promotion period.

Don’t buy used vvdi mb from unknown resources. In this case, need to contact Chinese owner to buy points from xhorse to unlock device.

Users abroad don’t use points system.

 Today we’re going to use the Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max to clone a garage remote control. This garage remote to be cloned is brought from the client, which has 4 buttons. So next we’ll use a new Xhorse Masker Garage Remote to finish the cloning. I’ve separated its circuit board and battery on the table.

Click “Remote Clone” to check frequency, it shows 433.80Mhz.

HCS/Fixed Code Clone >> Garage key >> Start clone

Follow the prompts to press the original remote buttons in turn.

Once completed, it will show with confirm screen.

Connect Xhorse Garage Remote to Key Tool Max via cable.

Press “Clone”.

It will start cloning automatically…

Remote clone success.

Put a battery into the new garage remote to detect frequency.

As you can see, it’s same as the original one 433.80Mhz.

Let’s take out near the garage door, it can work and open the door.

 Problem:

How can I solve this proplem the xhorse condor xc-mini plus ii machine says use volume up down and power button to select and there is no any button to choose and make factory data reset.

Swipe right down on the screen, swipe up left to select rows, select Restore Factory Settings, and then swipe up the screen to confirm.

Or you can swipe up and down and it will go also swipe left with two fingers to choose.

 Problem:

How to charge the battery of the xhorse dolphin xp005, I just bought it and it came without a charge and the connector light does not come on nor does the battery level go up?

Solution:

Once the charger is connected and turned on, the battery should flash. When turned off, the machine does not have any indicators. Leave it connected for a few hours and when you turn it on it should raise the lines inside the battery.

Make sure it is securely connected to the machine. Make sure the fuse near the connector is not damaged.

Update dolphin xp005 from a PC with xhorse upgrade kit. Some update it and everything work fine.

If still not working, the battery is probably bad. Contact your Tech support to send me a new battery. Replace it everything works again.

 Problem:

I changed the xhorse condor mini plus date but it goes back the next day. How to fix it?

Solution:

The button battery on the motherboard is dead. Remove the case and replace the CR1220 battery on the motherboard.

The method can be applied to Xhorse Condor key cutting machines with serial number KM02, KM03 and KM05.

 This is demo on using Xhorse VVDI BIMTool Pro + GODIAG BMW FEM/BDC Test Platform to generate a new BMW FEM key on bench. With GODIAG, we can easily to know if the FEM module and key are normal.

Connect GODIAG Test Platform to FEM module, VVDI BMW Tool& computer.

Plug in the power cord to start BMW Tool software.

FEM/BDC Key Learn >> Get Key Info >> Select a blank key position:Key 4 >> Prepare dealer key with ignition switch >> Have a working key, switch ON ignition with working key and continue

If you have the original key, click “Next”.

Insert working key into GODIAG Test Platform, click “OK”.

Click “OK” to save key data file.

Please input a new key info GODIAG Test Platform.

(The new key was generated and not locked.)

Click “OK”.

Key learn success.

Press start button on GODIAG, the key can light up the analog dashboard.

Let’s read the key again, it says locked. That means the key generation is successful.

 Problem:

My xhorse vvdi key tool plus waiting for more than an hour and nothing happens. Noted for Toyota,Ford & VW.

If I do a system restore, what do I risk losing?….will I loose the Benz and 48 copy tokens?….will I loose points?.

Solution:

Do a factory setting and try again.

System restore will not lose token or points.

Programming key Audi Q7 2007 by xhorse vvdi key tool plus, easy job 2 minutes.

Using aftermarket China key 8E. Whole process took 2 minutes, you just Press the screen button.

Always Q7/A6 before 2009 is easy job for Add and AKL.

if have a working key you can do all by obd.
If not, then j518 on table. Read j518 with vvdi prog or keytool plus and prepare.
if you take off the J518 for make a key it’s a totally time lost. OBD, if not work, CS from ecu and working key, also done.

 Problem:

I installed the Xhorse dolphin xp005 latest version 1.7.2 and after a day it got error 80. and after that it didn’t boot.
Dolphin xp005 no longer finds me when I connect it to USB.  nor does the BIOS appear on the display when I connect it to USB.
i managed to install again i booted.  but I can’t make keys with it because Error 80 appears. Any solution?

Solution:

Reinstall Dolphin driver
Update firmware via Upgrade kit.
Try several times.
If all not working, there is something wrong with the dolphin mainboard.
Get the mainboard replaced.
