Just open the update tool and select software update. There is no need even to connect the VVDI2.

I programmed the Ford Galaxy 2001 transponder key using xhorse super chip xt27 chip. VVDI2 says prepare dealer key success. but it did not work, car did not start. Do I need a chip for ford pcf7935?

Solution:

Generate Mercedes ML (using this option) with xhorse vvdi mini key tool/key tool max. it’s about 7935 id generation not about encoding ML key.

 Problem: I was trying to generate Toyota RAV4 with xhorse XM Toyota smart key. Mini key tool says unsupported? Anybody knows how to fix or anyone can help me where can I buy xm38 series?

Solution:

Xhorse XM28 smart key cannot be used to generate/copy 0410, 0010 (A9, AA) chip smart key. You need to use XM38 proximity remote.

The XM38 remote is not yet available.

 Question: My xhorse vvdi mb tool failed to calculate MB password online. Error Cannot get calculation times from server. Any idea?

 Anyone have any idea how to remove the xhorse doolphin xp007 broken tracing probe that stays stuck in its place?

These are all possible solutions from Xhorse Dolphin users:

• You take the screw out and make a stack and take it out.
• Warm the holder and cool the tip with the set screw removed try a spring-loaded center punch in the hole for the set screw and lever it out.
•  take the whole cylinder out and then tap it thru the top
• Put a pin on top of it with a fine drill and you can remove it with a thin-tiped staple by hitting the stove.
• Strip tracer tower out, and punch it from the rear side. Won’t be a blind hole, worst case, when it’s out, file it flat, drill and tap and pull out with screw
• Use a 2mm grinder disk and cut a small horizontal groove in it and tease it out with a flat head screwdriver.
• Use a file on one side to make it a little flat then use pliers to pull it down
• Remove the Allen and take a all and stick it in the Allen hole and push it down.
• You have to place a cable from point A on sect 3 of the drill and rewire cable 2 from sec1 into sec2 point of B and that will make it pull out.  some pliers like this and try to get a grip of it

 Question:  I have a problem with the Xhorse XKB501EN B5 Wired Remote 3-button keys, they are discharging the batteries within 3 days. they are giving the same defect, I used maxel, and Panasonic CR2032.

 Here is the tips to program 2009 VW Tiguan with all keys lost by xhorse vvdi2 in ABS service mode.  The procedure can also be applied to these login type include (CDCxx+24C32, A3/TT/R8 (CDC32xx), NEC24C32, NEC24C64, NEC24C64(2012 TFT color display), NEC24C64(2013-), NEC24C64(2013 TFT color display), Audi A1, Audi Q3).

• Open the dash, read the eeprom with programmer.
• Upload the binf le to the vvdi2 and mofidy.
• Write the modified file to the eeprom
• Connect the dashboard on the car and write the original file back by OBD
• Then read the immo data and program the key.

Don’t forget to SAVE ABS coding with VVDI before the process. You can restore with VVDI2 too.

This function is in the same menu of vvdi2 as eeprom update section, dash with micronas + 24C32.

 I have just purchased the xhorse Dolphin xp-007 manual cutting machine. Does the dolphin xp007 do tibbe keys if so does it come with clamp?  I’m looking for help on how to fit and cut Ford Tibbe keys, I can’t find a video on YouTube?
