Here’s a small tip to guide you quickly check vehicle mileage on Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max Pro/ VVDI Key Tool Max programmer. You’ll need to have a working key at hand.

Put the working key into Key Tool Max slot.

Transponder clone >> Read transponder

Here to check key information including key type, specific chip, key ID, key status, cloneable or not, encrypte mode, code mode, brand, chip type, programming status, frequency, kilometers(KM) and key number.

Slide down the screen to find KM, It shows 612754km.

That’s the vehicle mileage.

* It should be noted that the function does not apply to all cars.

 Problem:

My xhorse dolphin xp005l key cutting machine time changed to 2016 year and 00:00 hour. Tried reset time in system configuration, still the same. Firmware and database version are up to date.

Any suggestion?

Solution:

Remove the touch screen case, replace the button cell battery.

Be careful with this cable when disassembling, the speaker is on the back shell, don’t break it when disassembling.

Here is the tip to remove shell of dolphin ii. You don’t need to remove all screws. Just remove screws on the screen.

 Problem:

I have a situation where all keys are lost, it is a Toyota Hilux 2019. I made all connections with Xhorse 8A control Box cable (not smart key) when I run I have this error message on vvdi key tool max pro (error “the device not bind with serial number” ) .  Any solution?

Solution:

You have to bind the 8A adapter to your Key Tool Max Pro (or Key Tool Plus, VVDI2, Key Tool Max+ Mini OBD Tool) in order to let it recognize the 8A kit to perform all keys lost process.

How to combine Xhorse 8A non-smart key adapter with key tool max?

Go to 8A immo box all key lost function-> Combine mini obd/key tool max pro with 8A all keys lost adapter

1. Connect Mini OBD to 8A all keys lost adapter as connection diagram.

2. Need to connect to the internet.
