Hi, today I’m gonna test the latest tool Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max Pro to program a new key for Honda Civic FD 2011. The working key is chip 46, frequency 433MHz. Let’s get start.

Tools Required

VVDI Key Tool Max Pro

A working key

XNHO00ENUniversal Key

Key Tool Max Pro comes with an OBDII cable, just plug it into OBD.

1. Generate Key

Remote program >> Honda >> Civic FD >> Civic FD_433_ID46 2161

Put the XNHO00EN Wireless Remote into Key Tool Max PRO coil.

Click”Generate remote”.

Burn success.

2. Add a Key

Switch ignition on with working key.

Immo programming >> Honda >> Civic >> IMMO >> System-46(2006-2011) >> Immo programming >> Add a key

Follow the prompts to operate:

Switch ignition off.

Insert working key, switch ignition on.

Switch ignition off then on.

If no response within 10s, turn off/on the ignition switch again.

Switch ignition off.

Insert new key and turn on within 15s…

Switch ignition off then on, and switch again…

Whether indicator light is out? Yes

Switch ignition switch off then on.

Program completed!

3. Test Key

The new key can actually startcar.

Remote also works OK.

Completely done! Easy job in minutes.

 Question: Do you know if you can read Sprinter 2003 immo box with xhorse vvdi prog? How should I access it to read it and record chip?

Solution:

Yes, of course, you can read it with vvdiprog, it is from a Sprinter.

No need desoldering for this mask, 0J66D.  Readable without a problem follow the instructions.

For Viano and A class need to desolder.

How to register VVDI Key Tool Max PRO?

1. Power on Key Tool Max PRO>> Select language >> Set date & time zone >> Agree to enter >> Start to set >> Connect WiFi

2. Enter cell phone number & password to login >> Send >> Enter security code >> Combine device

 Problem:

My xhorse key reader cannot identify key bitting anymore. It starts Scanning the key and never ends. Any solution?

VVDISHOP working solution:

1).  Update xhorse key reader

in Xhorse App, go to Optional Identification

Update xhorse key reader firmware via WiFi (Don’t forget to open WiFi)

2) Calibrate key reader

Keep press the key reader icon until it shows “Calibration”, calibrate the device

3). If failed, open device, check if this cable gets loose and replug it.
