Xhorse tutorial: how to replace and change xhorse dolphin xp005l (dolphin ii) key cutting machine touch screen.

1. Take out those screws for remove the back case and handle from machine xp005L

2. Take out those screws and disconnect cables as picture show, for remove back case from screen

3. Use the flat head screwdriver to push out the mount which use for fix the screen like picture show, for remove screen from the back case of machine xhorse dolphin ii

4. Please remove the plastic pin socket from screen cable with sharp piler like picture show,for remove whole screen and cable from xp005l

Remark: Please take a photo of that pin socket before you remove it, all pin should be in the exact same position like before when you put it back.

 This is a quick instruction on how to connect new Xhorse Toyota 8A AKL Adapter to VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad for programming. Follow the below steps to start your job.

1. Prepare Xhorse Toyota 8A Adapter, TOY-C1 & TOY-C2;

2. Connect XD8ASK adapter & TOY-C1 cable;

3. Plug one end of adapter into VVDI Key Tool Plus Tablet, the other end to OBD line;

4. Plug OBD line to the car;

5. Connect the other end of TOY-C1 cable to the co-pilot intelligent control unit plug.

 Problem:

 Is it possible to add Key for Passat year 2005 with xhorse via OBD?

Some can, some you need to read ECU on bench for data. Better to clone chip and learn remote by OBD as suggested by more people, don’t risque braking the firewall plastic covers to get to the ECU (old and brittle sometimes).

Way 1:
Clone it with VVDI and remote by OBD. Easy money
Clone xhorse super chip XT27 with key tool max and add remote by OBD
Way 2:
Vvdi2 can program key for Passat 2005.  Read CS & pin from ECU … get 7th CS bit from working key, generate dealer key, learn key, done.

 Problem: I was able to use VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad + Toyota 8A AKL Adapter to read out immo data, and succeed in generating a XM38 Smart Key. But this key is unable to emergency start the car. Any ideas?

Solution

Please noted to generate XM38 to corresponding VIN of smart card before Toyota 8A all keys lost programming.

Eg.

2020 Toyota Camry – 0010 version smart card

2015 Lexus – 2110 version smart card.

(Please ask for the professional if you don’t know the version)

Steps

1. Generate to the corresponding version of smart card;
2. Generate emergency key with immo data.
